School Council - What we do…..

Welcome, from our School Council for this year 2007/08.

We have been elected by our class members to represent our class.

Our role is to meet once every two weeks with our link members of staff, Miss Berry and Mrs Fox. At these meetings we have a chairperson and a secretary. We have an agenda and we discuss and make decisions on different issues. At the moment we are discussing:

    ·       Bullying – how to beat it.

    ·       Christmas at Goldington Green

We also organise fundraising events such as

    ·       Children in Need

    ·       The Big Hush 08

 We are raising money this year to buy

     ·       Facilities for reception

 We work together as a team across the key stages to raise the student voice within our school. We share our ideas and opinions through the Chairperson and feed these back to our classes.

So far we have written an anti-bullying charter and we are also organising a sponsored silence in January 08.
